Tribal Enrollment
Tribal Enrollment
Many think that they can enroll based on their Cherokee heritage; however, this is not accurate. According to the GTEC Constitution, Tribal Enrollment is restricted to:
Any person whose Cherokee ancestry can be traced and documented to 1910 Guion Miller Roll or other government-approved Cherokee rolls containing name(s) of the person(s) residing in the Lumpkin County area prior to 1838 at the time of their enrollment.
If you feel you and your family may meet these requirements, reach out to our enrollment office to request information.
