Communications
The Communications Department of the Georgia Tribe of Eastern Cherokee is dedicated to amplifying the voice, vision, and values of the Tribe through clear, respectful, and impactful messaging. As the central hub for all marketing and strategic communications, the department plays a vital role in strengthening the Tribe’s identity—both within the Tribal community and to the public at large.
The department oversees the Tribe’s official website and social media channels, ensuring that all content reflects the heritage, values, and priorities of the Georgia Tribe of Eastern Cherokee. This includes promoting cultural events, Tribal news, historical education, leadership updates, and outreach initiatives. Every message shared is crafted with intention, accuracy, and cultural integrity.
In addition to digital communication, the department provides support for public relations efforts, media inquiries, visual storytelling, graphic design, and branded materials that help convey the Tribe’s mission. It also assists internal departments with communication strategies to ensure consistency and clarity across all platforms.
Through a combination of modern digital tools and traditional storytelling values, the Communications Department works to: preserve and share the rich history and culture of the Tribe, keep Tribal members informed and engaged, promote transparency and trust within the community, build awareness and partnerships beyond Tribal lands. By blending culture with communication, the department helps to ensure that the legacy of the Georgia Tribe of Eastern Cherokee continues to be heard, understood, and honored—today and for generations to come.
